On the morning of August 30, the longest tunnel of the Dali lincang railway, the linbaoshan tunnel, was successfully completed, laying a foundation for the completion and opening of the whole line as scheduled.
Linbaoshan tunnel is a full-line control project, located in weishan county, Dali bai autonomous prefecture, yunnan province, with a total length of 14.076 kilometers. It is a high-risk tunnel and a key control project across the line. It covers karst, harmful gas, fault fracture zone, high in-situ stress, high in-situ temperature and other bad geology. Since the construction started in March 2016, the tunnel has encountered two times of large mud gushing water and 12 times of construction through shallow buried, compression-torsion fault zone, crushing zone and other large deformation sections of soft surrounding rock. According to the construction methods of "leading pipes, strict grouting and short penetration", the construction unit adopted "tunneling and short tunneling", opened 4 inclined shafts and added 9 working surfaces to ensure the construction progress.
At present, the main tunnel has been dug 11,249 meters, is expected to be completed by the end of 2020.Big near 202 km of railway is the main channel is an important part of international, Dali north up the railway station, cross the lancang river, crossing the mountains after arrived in lincang city, the design speed of 160 km, accounted for 87.25% of the total length of all bridge sui Ⅰ level of electrification railway to the nation.Upon completion and opening to traffic, dalin railway will greatly improve the comprehensive transportation system in yunnan and western yunnan, and play a positive role in boosting the connectivity between China and neighboring countries.
