Pull railway track-laying Lin to "Tibet wool of the township"
On September 2, with the roaring sound of bridge ergators, a group of 42 25-meter-long railway tracks slowly landed and connected with the station line, marking the smooth progress of Lhasa to nyingchi railway into shannan city zedang station.Up to now, lalin railway has completed 90.3 kilometers of track laying.
Zedang town is the seat of shannan municipal party committee and municipal government of Tibet. Zedang station is the third newly built passenger and goods station of lalin railway. There are five arrival and departure lines in total.
The construction of lalin railway is undertaken by China railway 11th construction bureau.Construction workers overcome challenges such as high cold and low oxygen, wind and sand, etc., at the same time, cross-grade highway beam erecting is frequent, laying and erecting overhead work has a variety of risks.
According to the Tibet railway construction co., LTD., by July this year, 207,550 meters of tunnel construction have been completed, 95% of which has been completed. The remaining 10 tunnels are expected to be completed by the end of this year.Since lalin railway began laying and shelving in October 2018, the erection of 1,006-hole T beams has been completed so far, accounting for 22% of the track length. The laying and shelving will reach sangri county by the end of this year, and the whole line will be completed by the end of 2020.
The main railway line from Lhasa to nyingchi is 435km long, crossing the yarlung zangbo river 16 times. The geological conditions are complex, the ratio of bridge to tunnel is as high as 75%, the designed speed is 160 km, and it is the first electrified railway in Tibet.As an important part of the railway into Tibet, lalin railway is expected to be completed and open to traffic in 2021.
