Inspecting and checking turnouts:
Check geometric size with a rail gauge
Visually, touch the wing rail, frog rail, whether there is fat edge, block, scratch, fish scale, poor light, uneven wear.
For alloy steel, is there any fat edge or a drop in the splicing joint between alloy steel and turnouts.
Use cross section caliper to mark 20mm / 50mm section position
Check the actual reduction value size with the lower value, and confirm the polishing plan against the heart track value reduction standard.
